What is it?
The HidroGeoDia|Brasil is a technical visit guided by hydrogeologists to the main water supply sources in Bauru, to promote the importance of water resources for the city, represented by the Guarani and Bauru aquifer systems and the Batalha River.

How did the event come about?
The HGD is a creation of the Spanish Group of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (AIH) and takes place annually in dozens of locations around the world. In Brazil, it was held for the first time during the celebrations of World Water Day in 2023 and is part of the activities of the SACRE Project.
